The conditions were perfect for the 18th edition of the Polo Master Tour in Megève.
The teams were able to play on a ground with perfect snow coverage and the sun, which was present for all 3 days of the competition, allowed the public to really enjoy the show.
In the men’s competition, the Fer à Cheval - Assor team won the Groupe Edmond de Rothschild trophy and the Boule de Megève, created by the local sculptor Pierre Margara, with a score of 5 1/2 to 3 against the Edmond de Rothschild team.
Laurent Dassault and his team mates Mathieu Delfosse, Harry Tucker and Patrick Paillol were pipped to the post in the final stage of a tournament in which the 8/10 level is the highest of the BMW Polo Masters Tour.
New this year, two ladies’ teams were up against each other in the Ladies Charriol Cup, in which the Charriol team won out over the Pure Altitude team.
The ‘Cavaliers Voltigeurs de France’ equestrian stunt riders were also part of the occasion and brought each day of competition to a spectacular close, to the delight of the spectators.
