Le Domaine du Mont d’Arbois and all of the non-financial activity of the Benjamin and Edmond de Rothschild holding company are now united under one brand name « Edmond de Rothschild Heritage ».
“Our new brand is a tremendous step forward, sharing our passion for a living heritage.’’ Ariane de Rothschild
To create a unique brand for the Edmond de Rothschild Art of Living
Keen to pass their precious savoir-faire onto others, Barons Edmond and Benjamin de Rothschild have invested in a wide range of entrepreneurial activity concurrently with the financial Group. With Le Domaine du Mont d’Arbois at the heart of it all, this activity was gradually included in the SFHM (Société Française des Hôtels de Montagne). However this name hardly seemed to encompass the wine-producing, farming and nursery businesses of the group.
In each of their fields, they have become a benchmark; the Domaine du Mont d’Arbois, the destination de rigueur for exceptional stays in the mountains; Château Clarke, a true icon of the Listrac appellation; the Compagnie Fermière producing farmstead Brie de Meaux AOP, the only one of its kind. Edmond de Rothschild needed to display his passion, his commitment and the excellence of his products through an overarching brand and image.
A new name for a new identity
Edmond de Rothschild, a name strongly associated with excellence and innovation, shared by the banking and non-banking activities
alike, was the obvious choice as the basis for the new brand.
Add the word HERITAGE, to bring out the full meaning behind the company that epitomises the Art of Exceptional Living. History has certainly bequeathed a heritage to the Rothschild family but, above all, it has bequeathed a moral imperative: that of every single day passing on the idea that there is always a better way, or a different way, of doing something. This heritage is an opportunity. An opportunity to invent, initiate, surprise, never to be where you expect it.
New 2017, opening of the one of the most beautiful mountain hotel
A new luxury hotel, constructed with the level of excellence one associates with the family and interior design the personal choice of Baroness Ariane de Rothschild, will be inaugurated in December 2017.
A subtle blending of coarse ad fine materials, traditional and contemporary design, this hotel managed by the Four Seasons hotel group, as will the 5-star hotel, Le Chalet du Mont d’Arbois and his Spa, the 5 family restaurants, which include the 2-Michelin-star Le 1920, and the Mont d’Arbois Golf. This ‘domaine’ will have a total of 90 rooms, 8 restaurants and 1 golf.
