Chef Julien Gatillon is awarded his first star in the 2014 Michelin Guide for Le 1920, the gastronomic restaurant
of Megève’s five-star Chalet du Mont d’Arbois.
The most recently honoured is Julien Gatillon who at 28 years of age has just been awarded his first star in the Michelin Guide for Le 1920, the gastronomic restaurant of the five-star Chalet du Mont d’Arbois.
This is a dream come true and just reward for this young chef and his team who have worked tirelessly since his arrival just two years ago.
Sure of his skill and ambition, Philippe Standaert, manager of the Domaine du Mont d’Arbois, handed over the reins of the gastronomic restaurant to this young talent in 2012, who has brought with him a wealth of expertise and creativity. With an exceptional tool at his fingertips, here Julien Gatillon returns the trust confided in him in offering fine, perfectly balanced gustative dishes that are both traditional yet imaginative. A culinary art that he defends with a passion in perfect harmony with the tradition of art de vivre supported for three generations by the Rothschild family.
