Since June 2012, Julien Gatillon, has taken charge of the gastronomic restaurant of the Chalet du Mont d'Arbois
The new Chef is aiming to perpetuate the tradition and the art of living shared by the Rothschild family in Megève since three generations.
For Julien Gatillon it is a homecoming, because it was at the Chalet du Mont d'Arbois that he made his first experiences, before working with Benoît Violier and then Yannick Alléno in the "Hôtel de Ville" at Crissier (Switzerland) and in the Meurice (Paris), both distinguished by three "Michelin macarons".
His artistry is now at the service of the Rothschild tradition where aesthetics meet quality. He shares and expresses these solid values in traditional cuisine combining season ingredients and great technical mastery. The first winter menu may be discovered from the 14th to the 16th of December and will continue from the opening of the hotel on December 22.
Julien is at the heart of the new project: the 1920's caterer services with the cooperation of the Chalet du Mont d'Arbois teams. The tourist will have the opportunity to test a selection of dishes at home.
